If you have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Sukhavaha, you can get a glimpse by listening to her conversation with Swami Padmanabha on the Free Radical Podcast. She is a dear wise elder with a spacious heart that one is able to offer only after having dealt with one’s own traumas.
Sukhavaha graduated with a BA degree in Social Welfare from Pennsylvania State University in 1974. The following year she accepted initiation from her guru, A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami. She was ordained an Interfaith Minister in January of 1992.
With decades of training in various healing and coaching modalities, Sukhavaha empowers spiritual seekers to address their buried emotions in order to assist in their relationships and spiritual development. Dedicated to showing the profound, yet simple power of emotional maturity, of choosing words carefully, she has authored four books:
Revealing the Heart: The Practice of Compassion
Finding the GAP, Some Truth About the Lies We Tell Ourselves
Entering the GAP, More Truth About the Lies We Tell Ourselves
What to Do About Sue, a memoir of her deprogramming at age 22
You are invited to join us in conversation with Sukhavaha. Right from the beginning, she will be asking those who want to share, “What is the purpose of pain?” This exploration will not be the same without you, so please add your heart to the offering.
