About Manjuali Dasi
After encountering Krishna devotees in Chicago, Manjuali Dasi was initiated by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada in May 1972 in Los Angeles. In 1976, Srila Prabhupada entrusted her and her late husband, Jayatirtha Das, with managing Bhaktivedanta Manor and the UK Yatra. Following Jayatirtha’s acceptance of the renounced order in 1980, Manjuali, along with her young son, served in California and India.
Later returning to the UK, Manjuali worked as a Media Librarian for a national newspaper in London. In the southwest of England, she transitioned into psychotherapy and counseling, working for an educational awarding body to produce training films and other educational resources.
Manjuali is a Bhakti Yoga practitioner, serving her Lordships in her home ashram. She is active in interfaith dialogue, environmental and social causes in her community.
